It's a Promaster 7812 clamp, and it's big, burly, and sturdy, but it does get in the way on technical climbs if I have to stand and climb. The camera can be swiveled 360 degrees in any direction, so you can really do anything with this sucker. You can also take it off and use it as a tripod...kinda.
