According to a report released on Sunday, Ofer Dekel, the chief negotiator for the release of Gilad Shalit met recently with senior Hamas figures incarcerated in Israels Hadarim Prison 11 days ago. Dekel briefed the Hamas leaders on the indirect Egyptian-mediated talks over the abducted IDF soldier. The sources said Dekel met with Nasser Issa, Revhi Mustaha and Abbas Sayid, whose names also appear on the list of prisoners Hamas is demanding be released in exchange for Shalit. 11/03/08
