One of three Katyushas missiles to hit Ashkelon landed in a playground just meters from a kindergarten. Another hit a seven story apartment building. The apartment hit belonged to a senior IDF officer in the Gaza division. No one in his family was hurt as everyone had sought shelter in a safe room. But, the apartment was destroyed. In the kindergarten, teachers didn't even hear the color-red alert that sounded for the incoming missile. The missile crashed into the playground; luckily, there were no children outside. Hamas has been firing a mix of Kassam and Katyusha missiles into Israel since the morning. No one has been killed, but at least 20 were injured. 3/3/2008
