Residential building collapses in Beirut

A residential building collapsed in Beirut on Sunday (January 15), killing at least two people and wounding ten others.
Lebanese Red Cross and Civil Defense forces rushed to the scene trying to evacuate the residents still believed to be trapped under the rubble. At least 40 people are still believed to be trapped underneath the building. The five-story building in the Achrafieh district of Beirut was erected in the 1960s.
