Armed robbers bag US$8.5 million in daring daylight raid

Armed with AK-47s, the gang of around a dozen men used a truck to ram an armored car off the road. They then set fire to the truck, holding off police and passing motorists with gunfire as they unloaded the cash into two getaway vehicles before making their escape. No one was injured during the attack.
