Colombian beauty queen injured in acid attack

Maria Fernanda Nuñez was returning home with her mother following from a rehearsal for a regional pageant when the attack occurred. The man hurled the acid at the 22-year old before fleeing on a motorcycle, police said. Nunez was rushed to hospital and was treated for injuries to her face and eye, according to reports.
