Christians attend mass in Bethlehem

Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity - revered by Christians the world over as the birthplace of Christ.
Hundreds of Christians attend the traditional Christmas morning mass here, led by Jerusalem's Latin Patriarch, Fuad Twal.
Its been relatively calm in Bethlehem in the past two to three years following years of violence, which peaked in 2005.
The last three years has seen a steady increase in tourism in the West Bank town - described by some as a tourism boom.
Bethlehem police expected an influx of more than 300,000 tourists for the holiday this year.
