Across the country churches and local groups are pledging to raise £5000 each. This money will be quadrupled with funds from the European Commission and the project will result in increased food security for 88,000 people in northern Burkina Faso. Climate change is making life harder for the communities living on the edge of the Sahel, but Christian Aid partners are teaching them techniques which mean they can continue to live and thrive in their homelands.
