In three years'time, Afghanistan is scheduled to resume control of its own security. There are currently approximately 130,000 ISAF troops in Afghanistan, among them Germans. The future of Afghanistan is the topic of an upcoming international conference to be held in Bonn. A delegates representing a wide range of bodies will report on what has been achieved in Afghanistan - and how they see the prospects for the country’s future.
