Protesters prayers in Tahrir Square

Prayers are held in Tahrir Square on what is being called "The Friday of the Last Chance."
Activists say it will be the biggest day in a week of protests that have seen at least 41 people killed.
Demonstrators are urging a new constitution and a speedy transfer of power to a civilian government.
On Thursday Egypt's ruling generals appointed a new prime minister after the interim government resigned.

"We want a Prime Minister who can understand those people. We do not need those who are rapidly firing into the air to disperse us, so we need someone who can understand the people."
With parliamentary elections due to start on Monday security at polling stations remains a key question.
