Barack Obama arrives in Indonesia

U.S. President Barack Obama arrived on the Indonesian island of Bali on Thursday to attend a summit meeting of leaders of Southeast Asian countries.
Obama came from Australia, where he announced a strengthening of the U.S. presence in the region.
He is the first U.S. president to attend the expanded meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and will seek to underscore a focus on Asia.
China, Japan, South Korea, India and Russia are also due to participate in the expanded sessions that continue until Saturday.
