Surfing on Helix - part of the women's fitness video series by GeoBeats. Hi, I am Gilly Rinaldo with Smart Workout and I am here to show you surfing on the Helix trainer. This is a great way to incorporate cardio into your exercise routine, as well as work the inner and outer thighs. It is very similar to an Elliptical trainer except, instead of moving forward and backwards, it moves sideways working the outer and the inner thighs. So, let us start to surf. You are going to place both feet on the pedals and start to move to the outer direction. You can go as fast or as slow as you feel comfortable. You want to continue this for about a minute or two. And then, whenever you are ready, bring it up a level and reverse direction. So, you drop the inner foot in and go ahead and inward surf. Continue here for about a minute or two. Then you can reverse directions again and outward surf. The Helix is a great new to incorporate cardio into your exercise routine, as well as work the inner and outer thighs.
