Defense rests in Murray trial, Rihanna cancels concert

Doctor Conrad Murray chose not to testify in his trial for involuntary manslaughter. The defense rested their case on Tuesday (November 01). Both sides will now deliver their closing arguments starting on Thursday (November 03). If convicted, he could face up to four years in prison.
Rihanna was forced to cancel a show in Sweden, after being hospitalized with the flu on Monday (October 31) night. The singer is currently on her fourth concert tour around Europe, in conjunction with her fifth studio album, "Loud." She's scheduled to perform in Stockholm on Tuesday (November 01).
Justin Bieber has been added to the line-up for the MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast on Sunday (November 06). He will join his girlfriend and host for the night, Selena Gomez, as well as acts already slated to perform which include Lady Gaga and Coldplay.
Finally, Megan Fox will make her Broadway debut later this month for this year's 24 Hour Plays. The "Transformers" actress has signed up to take part in the annual project, which sees actors, writers and directors collaborate to create a series of plays in 24 hours.
