Twilight hunk slash werewolf Taylor Lautner was greeted by tons of rain and a mob of screaming fans as he touched down in London for the premiere of his new movie "Abduction".
The actor, who plays Jacob Black in the popular teen movie franchise, has landed his first leading role in this latest action packed thriller, which he also produced.
While the defeaning noise for some might take getting used to, Taylor has grown to love the affection of his fans.
SOUNDBITE: Taylor Lautner, actor, saying (English):
"Sometimes it's tough but I mean this is extra motivation. I mean when we're on set and we have hundreds of fans on set every single day it's, that's who I am making the movie for. So it is motivation and then seeing the turnout here it is like 'It's worth it', absolutely."
For Lily Collins, daughter of famous Genesis frontman Phil Collins, and Lautner's on-screen love interest the noise remains a challenge nevertheless.

"It is, yeah (fans screaming) -- yes it is very hard to concentrate when that happens (fans screaming) -- that's Taylor! Oh my"
"Abduction" sees Lautner in the role of Nathan, a teenager who goes on the run when he discovers his parents aren't really who he thought they were and his entire life has been a lie.
While being pursued by the FBI and killer assassins, Nathan must piece together the truth of his life.
All in all a lead role with many challenges for the young actor - Taylor was eager to take on his own stunts and show his true action star potential.
SOUNDBITE: Taylor Lautner, actor, saying (English):
"I mean there was a lot of physical preparation. I was training and boxing and motorcycle riding, wrestling and then yeah I watched a few movies -- right before I went to film and that was very helpful to get the tone of the movie -- and then the emotional journey, just being able to dive into this character's shoes and live -- his emotional journey of it all."
If the film succeeds to launch Taylor as the next action movie star is something that remains to be seen. Opening to just $11.2 million in the U.S., one hopes these fans won't let him down.
