The Schwab Foundation has named Darell Hammond as a U.S. Social Entrepreneur of the Year. Hammond is CEO and Founder of Kaboom, which mobilizes communities to create safe places for children to play. Hammond joins a global network of social entrepreneurs from over 40 countries, including Elizabeth Hausler of BuildChange, which improves home-building in earthquake zones in China, Indonesia, and Haiti, and Dan Viederman of Verite, which ensures safe, fair, and legal conditions for workers around the world.

Audi and Best Buddies International teamed up for the 5th Audi Best Buddies Challenge held last Saturday.
