Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab shines at Paris fashion week. One particular gown stole the show.
Elie Saab's Haute Couture collection dazzled spectators at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday.
The Lebanese designer said the line was inspired from his perfume - Elie Saab Le Parfum.
[Elie Saab, Fashion Designer]:
"It's the fragile woman. The fragile and sensual woman. I took this inspiration from my perfume."
Models sashayed down the catwalk wearing cocktail dresses whites and natural tones glittering with sequins.
Sheer chiffons were sprinkled with tiny jewel-like dots and shiny silver embroidery, giving the collection a glow.
While every piece got admiring looks from the audience, it was the final dress that drew the most applause -- a bridal gown.
[Audience Member]:
"We saw two weddings of princes and princesses. I can say that this dress here, I prefer it. It has everything to keep all the attention on the woman who wears it."
[Sophia, Audience Member]:
"I like the wedding dress. We are looking for (a wedding dress) so probably we're going to take one."
Known for his innate sense of cut and catering to the female form, Saab's Autumn Winter collection was in keeping with his usual style.
