Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in front of the German Chancellery in Berlin to protest against austerity measures and further conditions imposed on recipients of European financial aid packages. The protest came as Euro zone finance ministers gathered in Luxembourg to approve payment of a fifth instalment from the 110-billion-euro rescue package approved for Greece in May 2010.
