Ilham Aliyev the dictator of Azerbaijan

Ilham Aliyev has ruled Azerbaijan as its authoritarian leader since the death of his father in 2003. Fraudulent elections and the coercive measures of the security forces have eroded the few freedoms left in the country, whilst censorship has maimed the press and independent media beyond recognition.
