Three Crude Bombs Recovered from Express Train in Eastern India

On Monday, Indian police recovered three crude bombs from a compartment of an express train in Jharkhand state.

As soon as the bombs were found, railway police checked all the compartments of the train for additional explosives.

[Anand Sagar Upadhyay, Divisional Railway Manager, Dhanbad]:
"All the passengers are safe. It was found in B4 coach hidden under berth number 27. You can call it cheap quality or low intensity bombs. The bombs were removed from the spot by the Government Railway Police and Railway Police Force, and they checked every coach of the train."

Police have not arrested anyone yet, and an investigation is underway.

A bomb squad from Ranchi will examine the bombs, before defusing them.
