Affordable housing is a very vague term. Affordable housing has different meaning for different people and is determined by many factors. If we monitor closely, affordable housing is generally judged by an individual’s income. For example for a person at a higher position, a house at Kemps corner or Bandra is also affordable where as the person who earns just enough for his living, a flat at Virar or Bisar is also affordable.
