http://www.tekbuz.com/police-parents-duct-taped-children/73643 EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) – The two parents who Evansville Police say bound their children to chairs for over ten hours using industrial boxing tape, will make their first court appearance Wednesday.
Police say 25-year-old Martina Shiver and 26-year-old Brian Shiver admitted they beat and neglected their children on a daily basis.
The two are being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail on $50,000 bond each after being arrested Friday.
Police say the father, Brian, tried to cover up the crime by grabbing kitchen scissors and attempting to cut his children free before police noticed. Besides that, police call his and his wife’s behavior unphased.
