The V2002 Festival moved into it's 7th year and what an event it was! Taking place on one of the hottest weekends of the 2002 English Summer, over 50 bands performed on four main stages spanning sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire. The crowds, already in a ridiculously good mood thanks to the blazing sun, responded with an enthusiasm rarely seen even at V festivals, and the music didn't disappoint either. Featured artists include Stereophonics, Elvis Costello, Primal Scream, Supergrass, Basement Jaxx and Manic Street Preachers.
