This video was released by Rybak's Facebookies on 13 May 2010 as a birthday greeting card to Alexander Rybak (born 13.5.1986), and to describe our present to him, which was a fundraiser held to support a charity he has endorsed himself: the project "Playing for a future" by Valdres Sommersymfoni.
It is a music education program aiming to provide free musical studies to talented children from underprivileged societies, children who would have very limited opportunities for education and career otherwise.
The collected donations were a good bit more than 20.000 NOK (almost 3000 Euros), enough to sustain the scholarship for a child from South Africa.
