This provides companies in rural areas with inexpensive and environmentally-friendly energy. With 6-9 hours of sunlight everyday, conditions in Cambodia are ideal for solar technology. The Cambodian solar energy company, Kamworks, won a prize for the Best Innovative Clean Technology„ in 2010 for its Moonlight lamps.
