Over five thousand worshippers filled the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in the centre of Moscow for an Orthodox Christmas service on Thursday night (January 6). The Christmas liturgy was led by the Patriarch of Russia Kirill. It was attended by Russia's president Dmitry Medvedev and his wife, Svetlana Medvedeva.
