Diassemble and Reassemble your Kangoo Jumps

Kangoo Jumps contain moving parts and as such may need disassembled to perform maintenance or replace parts. The lower shell and T-spring can be removed without the use of tools. This operation is pretty simple to perform.

The shells are marked with a circle and a triangle at each end of the shell next to the T-spring. First find the side with the circle on the lower shell. Then kneel on the floor straddling the Kangoo Jump with the lower shell pointing away from you.

Lock your arms and use you body weight to push down on the lower shell. It should pop out of the T-spring. Then twist to the side to remove the other end from the T-spring.

Use a similar motion on the upper shell to remove the T-spring. It will be easiest if you flip the whole boot over and start with the circle side.

These circle and triangles are their to let you know if your boots have been properly assembled with the SRS system. The safety release system locks
