Actress Reese Witherspoon has said yes to a marriage proposal from her partner Jim Toth, a Hollywood agent who she began dating earlier this year.
A spokeswoman for the star said: "They are engaged and they are extremely happy."
The couple started dating in January, shortly after Witherspoon ended her three-year relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
She has previously been married to actor Ryan Phillippe, who she met on the set of movie Cruel Intentions, and the pair have two children together.
Witherspoon is now one of Hollywood's highest paid actresses, and was recently paid a reported $15 million for her role in the adult comedy How Do You Know.
