Lindsay Lohan dropped from porn star role

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has been dropped from her comeback movie, Inferno.

The 24-year-old was due to play the lead role of tragic porn actress, Linda Lovelace, but director Matthew Wilder has let her go.

Wilder reportedly said: "We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her - and some other issues - have made it impossible for us to go forward."

Couples Retreat actress, Malin Akerman, is rumoured to be taking her place.

Lohan who once earned a reported $10 million per film, is currently in rehab under court order until January 2011.
