Timbis Beach in southern Bali is a famous spot for paragliding. It has a beautiful coastline, especially if viewed from the air.

Locals and tourists flock to the beach from July to October. And tourists can get paragliding lessons from a local instructor.

Ketut Manda has been working as a paragliding instructor for 16 years.

[Ketut Manda, Paragliding Instructor]:
"We are proud to train people to be able to fly, and even my former students have become champions. It's an honor for me."

Tourists spend around 70 dollars for approximately 30 minutes of paragliding.

One tourist from the Philippines was impressed.

[Jeena Llamas Lopez, Tourist]:
"Well, this is a very beautiful place for paragliding, the wind is very consistent, and the lounge area is very wide. So it's very good for beginners and intermediate pilots alike, very impressive."

Some hope that Timbis Beach will get support from the government because of its paragliding attraction, and it has the potential to boost tourism in the area.
