Nicola Roberts is following in Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole's footsteps by turning TV judge.

The singer will appear as a guest panellist on Britain's Next Top Model on Living next week.

Roberts will appear alongside presenter Elle Macpherson to mentor the modelling hopefuls. She will be seen guiding them through a photo shoot for children's charity Beatbullying.

Roberts tells the contestants: "The most important thing is that you're able to put as much emotion into your photograph as possible, because I think that the photographs will really help thousands of young people in the UK."

The wannabes take part in a demanding shoot demonstrating the effects that bullying can have. Roberts will then sit on the panel to determine who will leave the competition.
