Kelly Brook and Danny Cipriani 'take a break'

Kelly Brook and her rugby star boyfriend Danny Cipriani have split up.

A spokeman for the model has said the couple are "taking a break but remain close friends and will continue to be a part of each other's lives."

30-year-old Kelly has been dating the 22-year-old sportsman for 22 months.

There had been rumours the pair were having problems but it was thought they sorted things out after Kelly announced she was moving to Australia following news he was joining the Melbourne Rebels.

This is the third high-profile heartache for Kelly.

The model split up with Snatch actor Jason Statham in 2004 after seven years together and was also engaged to Titanic star Billy Zane, but called off their marriage in 2008.

There have been reports that Danny is already enjoying the single life again and has been linked to 90210 actress Jessica Lowndes. Meanwhile Kelly has ironically been spotted dining out at London's famous restaurant Cipriani's.
