Tourism flourishes amid poverty in Cartagena

Colombia may have been better known for cocaine and kidnappings, but its image has been steadily changing thanks in part to a hard-line approach from the government towards cartels and guerrilla groups. Tourism has doubled in the last decade with the key attraction being the UNESCO-listed town of Cartagena on the Caribbean coast.
