Making a Right Turn at a Red Light - What's Legal? ...

Numerous drivers encounter this situation on a regular basis. They need to make a right turn at a red light, but are not 100% who they should yield to and when. Here are the facts: you need to yield to on-coming traffic and need to yield to someone who is making a U-turn from the opposite lane. Furthermore, once you make your turn, you cannot immediately move into the farthest lane. You need to get into the closest lane and then gradually change lanes in order to help prevent a car accident.
