Not all CDIS are the same buyer beware! MRP has OEM

There are more and more companies promising to sell cheap GY6 and CDIs online. We previously reported on fake parts from China, we'll these are real Chinese parts, but what's starting to happen is that the industry requires brand specific models as more companies like CF MOTO, Linhai, Kymco manufacture in China they have parts that are not "Generic" nor cross compatible. They are brand specific much like Honda or Yamaha. So when we get emails from consumers saying " I made a mistake I purchased such and such CDI to save money " we have to say "Stop" before you buy check the OEM part and your dealer can order it from our repair manual section with real part numbers from the right factory. Your first step has to be to look up the correct factory part number: http://www.martinracingdealer.com/WSW... Follow the link to a manuals page, use the REAL repair manuals not a generic "Parts for Chinese Scooters Page" Go with the OEM part. Step 2 Contact your local MRP Shop and have them order the real part number. This will eliminate the need to keep testing CDIs to see which ones work. NOT ALL 150cc CHINESE SCOOTERS ARE THE SAME. Most of these companies can't help you with a Malaguti, Aprilia, or Vespa becuase they are brand specific for Italian models. So talk to Scooter experts, not people sitting in a garage that have never riden a bike nor know the difference between a Cub and a T-Max. We have the OEM factory parts and we know the difference. http://www.mrp-speed.com CLICK ON PLACES TO BUY Category: Autos & Vehicles
