German artist Georg Baselitz knows the true meaning of turning the art world upside down - as he himself did during the 1970s by inverting his portraits and even linocuts and winning international attention to boot. At the age of 72, his works still command top prices and he's got an impressive collection of awards - including the 2004 Praemium Imperiale - the most highly remunerated art prize in the world. Currently the Burda Museum in Baden-Baden is showing a retrospective of his works.
