Bollywood Legend Promotes New Film

Bollywood stars, including actor Amitabh Bachchan, gather in India's showbiz capital Mumbai, to promote their film, 'Rann.'
The film exposes the workings of the Indian media and delves into the choices people in the business have to face.
[Ram Gopal Varma, Film Director]:
"In 'Rann', I expose the media. Now that's not necessarily a bad thing. It is to say it exactly, or show it exactly, in its true colors and in its true form, and there are pressures and problems and complexities of running a channel to that extent. I mean there would be tremendous... I mean the perspective from and even within, and inside the media houses.”
Talking about the film, actor Amitabh Bachchan told reporters about the internal conflict one deals with in everyday life, which he says is the crux of this film.

"You are compromising with your conscience or not to make your business survive. Or else you compromise with your job to do justice to your conscience."
The release date of 'Rann' has also been pushed ahead to avoid the clash with upcoming film 'Veer,' which stars Bollywood actor Salman Khan in its lead role.
