Military School Targeted in Bombing in Pakistani Kashmir

A military school in Pakistan-ruled Kashmir was attacked by a suspected suicide bomber on Wednesday, killing three soldiers and wounding twelve others.

An eyewitness says the explosion went off as soldiers were coming out of their barracks.

The latest attack took place near the town of Rawalakot, about 100 miles northeast of Islamabad.

Violence has intensified in Pakistan since mid-October of last year when the army launched an offensive against Pakistani Taliban militants in their South Waziristan base on the Afghan border.

Hundreds of people have been killed in bomb attacks, most in the northwest.
