Shira u'tfila (sephardic music from Serbia and the Balkans)

Serbian group Shira u'tfila is performing at the International Jewish Music festival in Amsterdam on 23 october. They are playing one of the songs of their new cd Biviendo en Kantando (Life as a song) that will be released in 2010 (www.musicwords.nl). The music of this cd is based on old 78s with Sephardic music from the Balkans. The cd will also have a bonus album that has the original recordings from the early 20th century, recorded in Istanbul, New York and other places.
