This animated short opened the First Italian Animation Film Festival at the Metreon Action Theater in San Francisco, September 27 -- October 6, 2003.
Organized by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in collaboration with the Cineteca Italiana di Milano and Italian animator and cartoonist Piero Tonin as curator. The series includes work by Italy's animator masters Bruno Bozzetto, Gianini & Luzzati, Osvando Cavandoli, Guido Manuli and Enzo D'Alò. It also features restored copies of Cioni Carpi's short films from the 1960's and Italy earliest
animated advertisements from the 1920's.
