In Berlin’s traditional working class neighborhoods,left-wing extremist violence is on the rise. Young professionals are increasingly moving into these neighborhoods,causing the rents to rise and pushing out many of the old tenants. This is a thorn in the eye of the radical left wingers who are reacting by damaging new buildings and setting cars on fire. Unable to stop the violence,the police are now demanding a harder tack from politicians.
