Donna performs "Two Timin' Angel" in the 1965 AIP film "Sergeant Deadhead". Along with Donna Loren, this last film in the AIP Beach Party genre starred Frankie Avalon, Deborah Walley, Eve Arden ("Grease"), Cesar Romero (whom Donna co-starred with as "The Joker" on Batman), Fred Clark, Buster Keaton, Gale Gordon, John Ashley, Harvey Lembeck, Reginald Gardiner, Dwayne Hickman, Pat Buttram, Patti Chandler, Mary Hughes, Bobbi Shaw. Classic performers from a classic era. Ms Loren designed and made most of the costumes she performed in and this dress and belt are no exceptions. She wore these same original designs in her performance of "African Waltz" on Shindig (11/18/64).

Donna Loren was the one-and-only "Dr Pepper Girl" from 1963 to 1968. She was signed to a long-term contract with the soft-drink company to sing all television and radio commercials, do all magazine and billboard advertising representing them in every capacity, sometimes sharing the spotlight with American Bandstands Dick Clark. This relationship led to her touring in Dick Clarks Caravan of Stars with other popular acts like The Supremes and singing solos in the popular Beach Party films starring Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon. Later, she became the regular female vocalist on the popular 60's American live rock n roll TV show "Shindig" and she appeared in singing and acting roles in many popular TV shows like Batman, Gomer Pyle, The Mothers-In-Law, Red Shelton, Milton Berle and various game shows. She released over 20 45rpm records and an album in the 60s. Ms Loren is currently in the studio again recording. More info: www.donnaloren.net
