00:25He will then be required to swear an oath of allegiance to the Republic of the Philippines.
00:29PHSU Chief Nikki Cheng says the timing of the approval was strategically planned to
00:34secure the pair's eligibility for the upcoming Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China, this
00:38February 2025.
00:41Korovin has been teamed with Filipino-American Isabela Gamez since 2022.
00:46Korovin says, quote, I'm thankful to represent the Philippines with Isabela and to be Filipino.
00:50I will continue to give my 100 percent because I know what I'm fighting for, my kabayan,
00:55and the Filipino people.
