Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived in Cairo, Egypt on Sunday (Nov 10) for a four-day official visit to Egypt at the invitation of Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The special flight carrying the Prime Minister and his delegation landed at Cairo International Airport at 6.30pm (local time) and was received by Egypt's Prime Minister Dr Mustafa Madbouly.

00:46officials.
00:47On Monday, the Prime Minister is scheduled to receive an official welcoming ceremony
00:53at the Al-Ittihadiyya Palace before a private meeting with El-Sisi, followed by a bilateral
00:58discussion between the two leaders.
01:01Both Anwar and El-Sisi are also scheduled to witness the signing of Memorandums of Understanding.
01:08Later in the afternoon, the Prime Minister is expected to deliver a public lecture at
01:14Al-Azhar University, followed by a roundtable meeting with industry leaders in Egypt.
