Malaysia has formally extended an invitation to China to attend the Asean-Gulf Cooperation Council (Asean-GCC) Summit in 2025, says Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

Fahmi said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced this during the Cabinet meeting on Friday (Nov 8).

01:01The Prime Minister has also informed the Cabinet that tomorrow, November 9th,
01:09he and his delegation will leave for Cairo for an official visit to meet with President Xi Jinping.
01:20On the 11th of November, the Prime Minister will go to Riyadh for the OIC summit and Arab countries on the Palestinian issue.
01:37After that, the Prime Minister will return to Cairo for his official visit.
01:48Then, on the 5th of November, he will go to Peru for the APEC summit followed by Rio de Janeiro for the G20 summit for the G20 leaders.
02:04Because Malaysia is an ASEAN leader, usually ASEAN leaders have received an invitation from G20 leaders.
02:16The Prime Minister is expected to return to his homeland after the visit.
