00:00It's a good thing that Diwali is starting in the evening, around 7-7.30, so we've put a 7-4 shift here so that we can get a day off tomorrow.
00:13So this is a very good thing, we'll get a chance to spend time with our family.
00:17We haven't got a lot of days off because there's a commitment, there's Daily Soap, and there's a 7 days a week telecast.
00:23So yes, we're not getting as much time as we should, but still, fair enough.
00:26There's work going on, there's enjoyment going on, so what could be better than this.
00:29The celebration is at home, so whatever people have prepared at home will be the same.
00:39I was very fond of crackers.
00:41I remember that I used to go to the town with my dad, and we used to buy crackers from the wholesale shop at Crawford Market, and we used to get fancy varieties there.
00:52So yes, he used to say that we have to crack crackers.
00:55So that was an excitement as a kid, but now it's been at least 20-22 years since I've stopped cracking crackers.
01:01Apart from that, I'm a foodie, so the new varieties that my mom makes, they keep coming from my relatives.
01:12So that's it.
01:15I've been watching rituals since I was a kid.
01:17I come from a business family, so my background is Chopra Poojan.
01:21I'm a Gujarati, so going with my dad, doing Chopra Poojan, which is the worship of books and books.
01:28Coming home, doing Lakshmi Poojan.
01:32On the day of Dhanteras, we do Dhan Poojan.
01:35Lakshmi Poojan also has that.
01:37But I've been watching all these rituals since I was a kid.
