00:00How do you feel like she plans on balancing it all?
00:03I don't, you know, the thing is, once again,
00:05she's always been very interested in,
00:08she's never allowed herself to be pushed, you know?
00:10That's one of the great things.
00:12She has this tremendous dignity and grace,
00:14and of course, she's a very hard worker,
00:15and she has the causes that she's interested in.
00:17And she has been working behind the scenes
00:19during this entire time.
00:21It's not as if she, you know,
00:23during her chemotherapy was completely inactive
00:26in terms of her causes.
00:28She was, but it was very quiet,
00:29and under the radar.
00:31But now she's going to have to be, once again,
00:33step into the limelight,
00:35and be a huge part of the public face of the monarchy.
00:39And will that happen before the end of the year?
00:42We'll have to wait and see.
00:42I think a real turning point's going to come
00:45around Christmas, when she'll, I would imagine,
00:48be extremely visible with the rest of it.
00:50Yes.
00:51Yeah, definitely.
00:52I mean, you kind of answered this a little bit before,
00:54but do you feel like Prince William is encouraging her
00:56to take things slowly?
00:57Is he encouraging her to get back to work?
01:00And what does he understand if she wants
01:01to take a back seat?
01:03I think he, William has always let her decide.
01:05I mean, obviously in this particular situation,
01:08he is not going to push her into doing anything
01:10that she didn't want to do.
01:11And he didn't, before cancer diagnosis,
01:13he took the same attitude.
01:14He was never, he never felt the criticism of her was fair.
01:18He knew that she was a hard worker,
01:20but he also knew that her focus was family.
01:22And prior to that, you know,
01:24the rest of the royals really,
01:26most of them have never had that kind of hands-on
01:28relationship that she does with the kids.
01:30I mean, all three children, you know,
01:32they go to school, they come back,
01:34and they spend time with their parents
01:37the way an average, you know, suburban family would.
01:40And so, well, somewhat,
01:42as close as you can imagine the royals.
01:44He's at the point, but you know,
01:46she wanted them to have something
01:47akin to a normal childhood.
01:50And she doesn't want this to change things.
01:52And don't forget the entire announcement
01:54that she had cancer in the first place was,
01:57and that was a stunner,
01:58as you may recall with all the disasters
02:00and elections going on in the world.
02:01And yet, when she made that video announcement
02:04that she was being treated for cancer,
02:07everything stopped.
02:08You know, she was, and she was, I think,
02:09surprised at the outpouring of concern for her.
02:15But, you know, she held,
02:17the timing of that particular video was key,
02:19was pegged to what impact it would have on the children.
02:23She wanted to make sure that schools were afraid
02:25that if she made that statement,
02:26that the kids would then become victims of bullying
02:29or gossip or rumors.
02:31And she didn't want that.
02:31She wanted to have them at home
02:32when she made that announcement to the world
02:35that she was suffering from cancer.
02:36So that's her priority.
02:38It will always be her priority.
02:39And I think she's going to,
02:42I don't think William begrudges her that at all.
02:44And matter of fact, I think he's very grateful.
