Hindu priests in India's southern Telangana state held a 11-day prayer and ritual to seek the divine blessing of Raja Shyamala Devi for Kamala Harris to be elected as the US President. They hoped to repeat the feat of praying for her to win the 2020 election to become the US Vice President.

00:54The organizer, Shyamala Gopalan Educational Foundation, was established in honor of Harris's
01:01biomedical scientist mother, Dr. Shyamala Gopalan, who migrated from India to the U.S.
01:07in 1958 at the age of 19.
