00:16The Olof Palme Convention Center in Managua is the epicenter of the 13th
00:21edition of Nicaragua Designs 2024. The most important fashion event in the
00:27country. 60 catwalks will dazzle in creativity, innovation, and art.
00:42We are very excited to be here tonight and to be able to project the national
00:46talent that has been transcending for 13 years. You can see how national
00:51designers are going to have their catwalk along these three days. Very
00:57exciting catwalks that are loaded with our identity and loaded with our
01:00Nicaraguan creativity, as well as catwalks of international designers who
01:04have joined to share their talent and to live the art and creativity of our
01:08country.
01:21National designers who have been born from the creative school
01:37Nicaragua Designs, as well as international designers, show the fruit
01:42of their hard work and in their collections. This is a perfect platform
01:48for each of us to show not only locally, but also worldwide to other countries,
01:53the culture of Nicaragua, and what we have to offer, our talent. All of this is
02:02very important because Nicaragua Designs has promoted all the emerging
02:06designers, as well as us who have been in the industry for years, training
02:10ourselves. It has promoted us nationally and internationally in this platform. We
02:17have even gone to other countries through Nicaragua Designs.
02:21Nicaragua Designs also stands as a bridge between
02:30cultures, transcending borders, and since its founding in 2011, has been a space
02:35dedicated not only to fashion and design, but also to the exhibition of art and
02:39support for creative enterprises, which in this edition have presence in more
02:43than 40 booths.
02:47Nicaragua Designs has been a great opportunity for me because it really is
02:56a space that provides not only support and a space where you can externalize
03:00what you are as an entrepreneur and as an artist, but it also provides you with
03:03tools that have made me believe.
03:18This year more than 100 young models parade on the catwalks to wear
03:25with national pride the garments of designers that are not only pieces of
03:29clothing, but dreams, aspirations, feelings, and the commitment that each
03:34one of them have with these spaces of growth.
