00:00The effects of the two weather systems in our country are still continuing.
00:03The first is the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCC in the eastern part of Mindanao
00:08plus the Palawan province.
00:10This is the line where the wind comes from the northern and southern hemispheres
00:15and it is where the rain and thunderstorms are.
00:20While the easterly wind comes from the Pacific Ocean,
00:23it still affects the remaining part of Luzon plus Eastern Visayas
00:27and brings a high chance of rain in the eastern part of Luzon.
00:31Meanwhile, based on our latest satellite animation,
00:34we have not yet seen any typhoon in or around our Philippine area of responsibility.
00:42Today, the part of Luzon is still expected to be cloudy
00:44until the sky is cloudy in a large part of Luzon.
00:47This is the effect of the easterlies.
00:48There are areas where as early as this morning,
00:50there is a chance of rain, including Mindoro provinces and the province of Romblon.
00:56By the afternoon, there is a chance of hot and windy weather in some areas,
00:59especially in the central Luzon, Ilocos region, Cagayan Valley and even here in Metro Manila.
01:04By the afternoon and evening, there is a chance of cloudy weather
01:07until the sky is still cloudy, which is accompanied by heavy rain
01:12or thunderstorms, especially in the eastern sides of Luzon,
01:15especially here in Quezon and Bicol region.
01:18Our temperature in Metro Manila is possible to rise to 33 degrees,
01:22while in other parts of the Luzon region, it is up to 32 degrees Celsius,
01:26while in Baguio City, it is only up to 24 degrees Celsius.
01:31For our Palawan residents,
01:33there is a chance of thunderstorms and landslides
01:35due to the effect of the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
01:44For our residents here in Visayas,
01:46the part of Luzon is expected to be cloudy until the sky is cloudy throughout the day.
01:49There is a chance of rain in the morning, afternoon and evening,
01:52especially in the areas of Western Visayas and Negros Island region.
01:57Our temperature in a large part of Visayas and Palawan is up to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:03For our residents here in the southern portion of Mindanao,
02:06there are areas that will be rainy due to the effect of the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
02:11This morning, there is a high chance of rain in Zamboanga Peninsula
02:15and there is also a chance of rain this morning until later tonight
02:18in Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi,
02:21as well as in the areas of Sok Sabjen, Sultan Kodarat, South Cotabato, Sarangani,
02:26up to Davao Occidental,
02:28there is a high chance of rain.
02:30So, be careful of floods and landslides.
02:34In our southern portion of Mindanao,
02:37here in the rest of Sok Sabjen,
02:39in the rest of Bangsamoro region and Davao region,
02:41there is also a high chance of rain.
02:43This is the effect of the ITCZ.
02:45The sky is partly cloudy in the northern Mindanao and Caraga region
02:49which is accompanied by heavy rains or landslides.
02:53Our temperature in Zamboanga City is up to 32 degrees Celsius
02:57while it is hot in Davao City up to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:02Today and tomorrow, we do not expect a gale warning or a rise in the waves.
03:07Generally, it will be mild up to just above.
03:09It will only reach 2 meters if we have thunderstorms.
03:13However, over the weekend,
03:14it is possible for the sea to move in the northern Luzon
03:17and also in the eastern part of Luzon
03:19so always stay tuned for our updates.
03:23For our three-day weather forecast,
03:25from Friday to Sunday,
03:27there is still a high chance of rain here in the southern portion of Mindanao.
03:32We repeated the areas of Zamboanga Peninsula,
03:35Sok Sabjen, Bangsamoro region and portions of Davao region
03:38plus Palawan province because it is still in the intertropical convergence zone.
03:43Our rainfall is not continuous but sometimes it is strong.
03:47So always stay tuned for our advisories and heavy rainfall warnings if ever.
03:53Meanwhile, it will also be rainy on Sunday
03:55in the northern and eastern part of Luzon
03:57including Batanes, Cagayan, below Isabela, Aurora, Quezon and Bicol region
04:04because of the possible return of northeasterly wind flow to Taiwan.
04:08That is why it is possible for us to have a shear line in the areas of Cagayan Valley
04:12and then the easterly winds are getting stronger in Bicol region and Quezon.
04:16So always bring an umbrella if you will go out of the house the next days.
04:20While the remaining part of our country,
04:22for the next three days,
04:23it is partly cloudy until the sky is cloudy
04:25which is still accompanied by heavy rains or thunderstorms.
04:30When it comes to tomorrow,
04:31until the weekend,
04:32there is also a possibility of a complete bad weather
04:35outside our Philippine area of responsibility.
04:38It is possible as a low-pressure area.
04:40And then while our land is getting closer,
04:42we are also taking advantage of the chance of a light storm
04:46that can enter our area of responsibility early next week.
04:50And there is no direct effect for the next two to three days.
04:54So let's always stay tuned for our updates.
