00:00It was fun, that transition from smiling, you know, Steve to serious, I mean, it was
00:05just, I hope it was a moment that we were trying to make it, because I felt that moment
00:09happen, where I was smiling, serious, and like, that was the whole thing of the dance
00:13today, and I was just really happy with how everything went.
00:16Yes.
00:17What would you say about that?
00:18His seriousness compared to his smiling?
00:20Yes, no, I just loved it.
00:21Like, Steven absolutely killed it, and I feel like if you give him any character, and he
00:25would work on it, make sure it happens, and he did it, and he did it, and he did it, and
00:29make sure it happens, and just give it his all, the minute he's in that mode, you're
00:32just like, wow, he is in it to win it, and I just love it so much.
00:36I mean, it's crazy to go from the jive, like, super happy and upbeat, to a posso, which
00:39is kind of like the polar opposite, but he absolutely smashed it.
00:43Yeah, and you removed the glasses once again.
00:46Are we going to be seeing you take off the glasses for each dance?
00:49I can guarantee you it won't be for every dance.
00:52I can't tell you which ones, but some things, some dances, that moment is necessary, because
00:57I might be doing something fun in it, where these could fly off and hit someone in the
01:00crowd, and we do not want that, but yeah, I mean, today, especially with that goofiness
01:05to the seriousness, relating that to the Olympics, we had to take the glasses off, because that
01:09was my moment, and we wanted to recreate that.
01:12And I need to know, wait, can you see without them?
01:15I can see well enough.
01:16I can see the red light on the camera, and I can see Riley, and that's all I need to
01:19see.
01:20Yes, amazing.
01:21And we had our double elimination this week, so what was going through your mind before,
01:26when you were standing up there, before you heard your name called, what were you thinking?
01:30Well, I thought we scored well, and from the interactions we've had online, I thought we
01:34were in a good place of the vote, so I wasn't necessarily worried about it, but no matter
01:37what, it's really sad to see people go, because I've made friends with everyone here, and
01:41you know, it's just tough.
01:44And Riley, how would you compare teaching for this season to your first season on Dancing
01:50with the Stars?
01:51I mean, this season, I just feel so comfortable, and just so, like, awesome about it.
01:56I have an amazing canvas to work on, so honestly, my job is just so easy this season.
